Nutripack France BRC/IoP accredited

Nutripack, specialist manufacturer of food packaging, has been awarded the Certification BRC/IoP (British Retail Consortium / Institute of Packaging).

The BRC Standard forms part of a suite of product safety standards that cover Consumer Products, Packaging & Packaging Materials, Storage & Distribution enabling certification of the supply chain.   Originally created to establish a Standard for the suppliers of packaging and packaging materials for the food industry, this Standard is now a leading global Standard adopted by major retailers, manufacturers and packaging businesses around the world and is equally applicable to consumer products packaging producers.

Certification to the Standard verifies technical performance, aids manufacturers’fulfilmentof legal obligations and helps provide protection to the consumer.   Nutripack chose to obtain this certification in order to satisfy our customers who prefer to only trade with suppliers who have obtained this accreditation.

This Certification, awarded by an approved and independent organisation, is the proof of consistent safety and quality within the company. The audit was performed by the French L.N.E.(national measurement and trials laboratory), known internationally for its expertise in packaging activities and being the first French organisation accredited by the UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) in regard to this certification.

This standard validates our Group values: dynamism, innovation, consistency, competence, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

In order to give a global satisfaction to our customers; a daily control on our production is made by our quality department following specific procedures:

• Global and specific migration test ;
• Control and packing range for each article;
• A daily listing of controls (weight, traceability colorant and material);
• A daily report made by each operator;
• HACCP approach.

In order to answer to our customers requirements, a decision was made to focus our quality policy on product hygiene and security  instating a « HACCP approach » (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point ).
