Nutripack bv, Dutch subsidiary made in 2010,  is proud to announce the introduction of a new tailor made reclosable APET tray.

Within 9 months from the start of the customer request Nutripack developed an APET tray to pack sliced craft meat for a leading food producer in the Netherlands.

The tray is special because it meets the needs of the food producer, retailer and consumer. The project started in March 2010, the food producer asked to develop an alternative tray for foamed trays. Retail asked them to develop a reclosable and sustainable tray with an optimal product presentation in the shelf. The tray meets the current needs of the consumer; it has an easy opening and is resealable to keep the product fresh after opening.

As from 1st December the packaging with luxurious sliced meat like parma ham is available under private label Appétit in Plus supermarkets. Plus is one of the leading supermarkets in the Netherlands. The trays are lidded on a machine of Mecapack.
